The Day I Met Siri


(It’s been a while since I wrote my last piece, so please forgive me if I am a bit rusty.)

Pacing up and down in the Bose showroom at 6.25 PM on the 30th of June, I just had one thought in my mind. Well, actually two thoughts. The first thought was that today was my last day of internship at Bose. The second thought being that I was going to meet someone special. A woman. Her name is Siri.

Why Do We Love Football So Much?


Nervy moments begin as we enter the final minute of Arsenal’s match. We’re leading by just 1-0, a very dangerous lead. Wearing my Arsenal jersey, I stand just three inches away from the television screen with my eyes firmly glued on it, my palms sweaty, my respiration on hold, my fingernails bitten in some areas, making them look very untidy.

When the Son returned Home..


It was just a 3rd round tie of the FA Cup. Only Just. It involved one side from the Coca-Cola Championship travelling to play against a Premier League side. No biggie. Football pundits had predicted an easy win for the home side. This was the on-the-field scenario. Off the field, it was a completely different story.
