A Little Baby’s Toy

An innocent smile lights up his face, when he sees his dearest toy,
He is the happiest when he is, around his dearest toy,
All he wants to do, is play with his dearest toy.

Be it in any color, shape or size,
But that’s his life in there, in that little toy, because,
All he wants to do, is play with his dearest toy.

Crawling happily towards his toy, he feels he is home,
He wouldn’t cry on being left alone, on his own, because,
All he wants to do, is play with his dearest toy.

Playing with his dearest toy, he unknowingly breaks it,
Not knowing what to do, the little boy looks around in dismay,
Desperately seeking out help, warmth and affection,
Scared at losing his irreplaceable toy, his young tears weaken his tender heart, break his tender soul,
He feels a deep hollow inside, feels the end of his world, because,
All he wanted to do, was play with his dearest toy.

How could life be so cruel on the little tot ?
Which is this test the Almighty has for his new creation ?
He is just a baby after all, is weak at heart, and is unknown of the rights and wrongs.
What is the innocent baby’s fault ? Just like every baby,
All he wants to do, is play with his dearest toy.
